Was put on a PIP than a written warning, managers went out of there way to spread rumors and get teammates to not work with me. Managers intellectually insecure, seat warmer workaholic, creates a toxic environment for all of us especially APAC and Visa workers... I feel obligated to go to HR, what would be the best approach? Or should I just jump ship to another team? TC 80k

If you're on PIP, is transferring even an option (i.e., isn't there a policy where you aren't able to initiate a transfer while on PIP)? Maybe jumping ship is your only avenue now -- you're not going to get any luv from HR... That said, are you getting any support from your team mates? If you're not seeing that, then you should maybe do a bit of self-reflection...
Teamates are really supportive, they are on Visas so it's hard for them to speak out. Its good advice to look inward, I just analyze, self reflect and improve.

your TC is so low that they are doing you a favor by pipping you. Quit immediately and get that TC up. You can make more per hour grinding LC than working for 80k/year. You'll double your TC.

Get another job, dont bother with fighting the pip. Only cases where that works is if you had a personal non work issue , you were a good performer in the past but it slipped now and your current manager or his boss still likes you.
Get a different job first. Unless you have concrete evidence of this guy. There is nothing you can do. Whatever you do, donāt tell him where you are going next.
