Not bad
Wow, from sky to underground in just 2 weeks. Made in USA
All super-hyped companies need to come down to clean up the market and rid us of nonsensical business models and their ridiculous valuations.
But at least the old ceo was able to cash out a few million
He has taken $700 M from his shares. https://www.bisnow.com/national/news/coworking/adam-neumann-700m-cashout-wework-before-ipo-99967#ath
Nothing to see hear, right?!?
Fake news; they told us shit
Thank God I didn't continue the interview process with them
In a way, it's a good thing if they can find their way back to the path to IPO. They need to increase operating margin and layoffs are the quickest way to do that. I'd imagine that they hired a lot of unnecessary people with their crazy expansion plan.
Will they lay off top school grads too ?
Why not? Sick of the entitled attitude of many Ivy alumni. Why would you be treated differently? Unless you’re a recent grad, doesn’t matter as much as the RESULTS you can produce. They’ll probably eliminate based on the businesses being axed and how necessary a team/role is to the functioning of the business.
I think ivy alumni produce results under stress much better compared to other schools since they're used to it.
If you could choose between being laid off and taking a two week non paid leave, which would it be? Asking specifically regarding wework
