Since it's pride month thought I should ask how people feel about their companies initiatives if any in trying to create an inclusive environment...I honestly think the industry and Citibank have a long way to go...Seems like most initiatives are more of a marketing and PR tactic than anything...
PIMCO got a perfect score by the human rights campaign. And an employee in Brazil received a top 100 "OUT"standing financial leaders awards. The other finance companies I've been at have been just as good too.
I'm curious to see how finance differs from online entertainment. Because I love how we handle and celebrate diversity. I don't feel ours is marketing/PR tactic, all our efforts started Grass Roots with passionate employees volunteering in their free time the corporate side supported it allowing it on the clock and those efforts just grew bigger and better. Sure some of it has become a bit PR ish but we historically love to celebrate success.
I have no idea what the answer to this is, but Iโm glad someoneโs asking.
