What do you want from Trump!?

tldr; people are outraged by this post, I don't support Trump nor Putin Do you really expect the guy confront Putin during public event? Both countries own 90% of nuclear power in the world and yet you're pushing him for blood. Be careful of what you ask for as consequences don't look that bright honestly. Like there are no other questions to ask during this, past and future conferences - it's so boring to watch frankly. Nobody is going to answer those questions directly in public - ever, just move on or find another way. What's even more confusing is the fact that US keeps Russia under heavy sanctions, it pushes Europe do the same, nobody is giving that country a green light, not even a tiny bit. What exactly does having Trump as president do to Russia and Putin in particular? All of it feels like a bullying at schools when one kid hits another and crowd is eager for more by cheering them both up. Freaking nonsense and total lack of racionalism. It's called a tunnel vision. There is nothing else to this world, but Trump vs Putin.

What a moron

Medallia 🌲 fidy OP Jul 16, 2018

Let's say you win and Trump goes and calls Putin a lier, a moron, a fuck head, blames him for everything, etc. Where does it go from there you think? A shiny bright world? People of both countries leaving a better life not feeling a threat? Cold war would be a heaven comparing to what people are pushing for. Why don't you focus your energy on getting Trump better as president, on helping his country, etc.? You've got what you've got - deal with it and improve upon it.

You have a good point about nothing will change despite of sanctions. The solution, I think, is to have Putin out of power, and actually have an election the youngs can rule. But that country needs a strong militant leading politically. Eastern European countries are frankly unstable politically. Mostly Soviet Union fault. Unfortunately this is all fairytale to me. China will never go Democratic. Russian, never. By never I am talking about the next 25-50 years. I am talking about before this generation becomes old and we lost the entire artic lol. I’d like us focus on domestic issue and stop being the Big Brother. Stop getting nosy into other countries’ affairs. We’ve a lot of issues here at home. Fucking President and Congress can’t work toward common good.

Hey Medallia, In the last 18 months, Putin’s Russia has 1. Refueled and upgraded the North Korean’s nuclear reactor, enhancing their ability to make nuclear warheads ( so much for the Trump Kim conference a few weeks before) 2. Sent a mercenary force to attack US special forces in Syria 3 warned the Syrians ahead of US Middle strikes enabling them to move planes 4 meddled in US elections 5. Meddled in the Brexit vote 6. Poisoned citizens of the UK with chemical weapons, in the UK 7. Openly supported a Neo Nazi candidate in the French elections 8. invaded and annexed Crimea The list is longer. They have earned the sanctions. On the other hand, have we ever witnessed a US President grovel like that and act like such a fanboy of a third rate Dictator? An embarrassing day for America. Macho Donald is working to make Russia great again

Medallia 🌲 fidy OP Jul 16, 2018

You've got your list right. What you've forgotten is honesty - hasn't US done any harm to this world, hasn't it killed innocent people? Russia never dropped a nuclear bomb. Everybody is to blame, both countries, but blaming isn't going to get you far. Neither asking the same question again and again that you know will never be answered for very clear reasons.

Make a list of what US has done during the last years and then let’s talk... People like you are prime example of brainwashed population. You have total tunnel vision for what your “opponent” has done and have no time to rationalize about your own actions.

Intuit qLPF37 Jul 16, 2018

Medallia, How are pay and benefits at Putin’s Internet Research Agency? Do you enjoy working for a man who ripped the Russian people of $20 to $25B over the construction for the Sochi Games?

Medallia 🌲 fidy OP Jul 16, 2018

What makes you think I support one or other? It's neither and I feel bad for people trapped between the mess.

Trump doing nothing allows Putin to continue disrupting American democracy.

Medallia 🌲 fidy OP Jul 16, 2018

How is it so? Just because you don't like current president doesn't mean you've got disrupted democracy. If you close your eyes on this particular issue, where else Putin's politics do harm to America's democracy?

Intuit qLPF37 Jul 16, 2018

Massive campaign to spread fake news on social media. How did this help anything Medallia Moron?

Medallia 🌲 fidy OP Jul 16, 2018

BTW. Hillary actually won the election by people votes count, but!!! It's not how it works in US. Shouldn't the election system be blamed for what happened? Honestly.

I can't even imagine being as ret@rded as you.

Medallia 🌲 fidy OP Jul 16, 2018

Being hatred helps a lot, indeed. If US counted every single vote, you'd get Hillary as a president - what's wrong with that?

Medallia - not a fan of Trump, he’s a raging shitstorm of incompetence, bigotry and fraud. But agree with your assessment of US/Russia relations. Something is very wrong with our society when those who are supposed to be on the “Left” are joining forces with voices in the mainstream media and openly pining for confrontation with Russia. Is Putin a thug and a bad guy? Sure. Is the US the most hostile, imperialistic society the world has ever known? Absolutely. Our crimes against this planet, our propping up of murderous dictatorships all over the world, OUR backing of Nazis in Crimea in opposition to Russia, our unauthorized wars and drone strikes, the list goes on and on. The Dems lost in the worst upset clusterfuck of an election in political history. They lost to a disgusting proto-Fascist carnival barker. But THEY lost. They lost because their dogshit Neoliberal policy destroyed the middle class and Trump filled the void of the alienated worker. Not because of Russia. That’s just some bullshit excuse they cooked up to obfuscate their failure. Don’t listen to these idiots in the Valley. Most of them have no fucking clue and actually thought Hillary Clinton was going to be a great President. HA!

Medallia 🌲 fidy OP Jul 16, 2018

Thanks for being reasonable.

TuneIn Spelmanson Jul 16, 2018

After words nazis in Crimea, hard to call this person reasonable. The fact is Russia has more youth nazis orgs than any other post soviet country. Some of them backed by government

Yelp mes745 Jul 16, 2018

I agree with you, that you can't expect him to directly fight with Putin given that Russia has nukes. But I do wonder where you were or what your stance was when Trump berated other presidents with nukes?

Intuit qLPF37 Jul 16, 2018

Sanction and more economic sanctions on Russia are exactly the right response. Today, Putin presides over a weak, slow growth economy that’s dependent upon oil exports. Without the sanctions put in place over the last decade, he would have a bigger economy that would support a larger and more threatening military. He would be invading and threatening even more people than he is today. If you disagree, please tell me how appeasement will make anyone safer. It worked so well right before WWII

Frankly, I think every country that wanted to weaken America's stronghold over the world loved the idea of having someone like Trump elected as the president. I am sure they did all they could to have him elected. But they didn't directly involve Trump in the plan because he is so stupid that he would have messed it up. PS- Hillary would have been bad for the US too btw. She would have been bad for these countries too. Trump is just bad for America.
