I’m a recruiter and I normally recommend that my candidates do Leetcode problems on a piece of paper or small dry erase board because that more closely mimics on-site interview experiences. I’m sure it’s a hassle but I’ve had a few candidates share that physically writing code out during interview preparation helped significantly when it came to their on-site interview.
Just my two cents!
Candidates are being asked to practice handwriting on a whiteboard for a job that involves no handwriting.
Do you still think coding interviews haven't become madness?
