PayPal won’t be the default payment processor for eBay from 2020. How does that affect the outlook of the company and it’s growth?
PayPal is getting screwed on multiple fronts , but they will survive for some time due to it's sticky brand
They are the safe default payment method for online shopping for most of countries in the world. That’s why their market cap is 100B+!
Those numbers already priced in the stock price. I don’t think PP is really concerned about this.
Ebay is expected to move out. Rather it's kinda paypal is pushing ebay out!. No one in PayPal is really Concerned about ebay going since its negative growth! PayPal is just concentrating on new market places. And as everyone know paypal has a upper hand among the competitors. Just that it has to be aware of what each competitor is doing and what it's capable of.
DUDE, take a look at our e-commerce platform product. It’s growing 10X every year. Launched thread years ago and this year it will be hitting $100M.
Yeah. Paypal has been great. But it has most fierce competition in all fronts. Then there’s Libra, it can change things completely. So it’ll fight really hard to stay on upper-hand.
PayPal is a part of Libra ... it’s public information. https://www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/articles/2019-06-18/visa-mastercard-paypal-join-facebook-in-forming-crypto-effort
Yes. Uber is on there too. And Libra would help Uber greatly. But for Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, it’s complicated. We’ll just need to see how it plays out
The same future as Yelp.
