Thinking of going back to school and taking classes partime for a bachelor's in CS then doing masters in machine learning. Is there any particular major that's good for machine learning as masters or is CS the main one? (Based In the bay area ) My old undergrad was unrelated totally from CS or engineering.
Winter is coming... you sure? 😅
? Don't understand the reference
More serious answer: You probably don't need a second BS degree you probably just need some extra courses on top of your masters program's requirements. DePaul has a pretty good MS program you can do data science or pure CS virtually. UIUC also has a CS one and an MBA through Coursera. Those might work well if you plan on continuing to work while getting your degree.
Statistics / econometrics.
Data science, data analytics, big data analytics, etc. different schools will obviously call it differently
So that's a while different major than CS? Do they overlap at all or no? Interms of courses
Most will be like a specialized subset of CS. Some show up in math/stats departments depending on the school.
