I only ever met one iguana that seemed to have anything resembling a personality. It was curious enough to come up to me to get a closer look. Every other iguana I ever met was basically just a decoration that happened to be alive. It's only barely a pet if it's only marginally aware that you exist. May as well just get a plastic one.
