What’s the consensus on HERE Technologies?

Navteq (Chicago)->Nokia->Microsoft-> German consortium : expect spaghetti code - they have the entire map data in a couple of disks in MS sql server last time I worked with them. If you’ve worked with German/European companies - you’ll get their culture quick. I wanted to join them but I thought they didn’t have any offices in the US anymore.

1. Pretty sloppy product 2. Definitely room for growth as they are ramping up to meet autonomous driving requirements 3. Beware of the German culture. They like meetings and writing requirements that don’t always make sense
