Trump may consider shaking up the federal reserve if elected.
Received an initial offer from Amazon (AWS) on Tuesday after completing my loop interview on Monday. I countered for an increase in base pay by $10k more Wednesday at lunch time. Recruiter didn’t say no, but he didn’t seem thrilled by the fact that I was asking for more. Said he would check back with the hiring manager. It’s now Friday afternoon and I still haven’t heard anything from him. Would it be out of line to follow up via email to see if he had any updates as I’d like to discuss a start date?
I’d imagine you are not based in any of the big cities in the US. TC looks low even for a L5 program manager
Base pay offer is typically final, so the response might be to the sign on and RSUs. You should focus on those 2, mainly RSU, unless monthly cash flow is going to be a problem for you.
I had been looking at it from the perspective of guaranteed money but we’ll see what the say!
What’re the offer details what’s the role? Don’t follow up
Original offer: $115k base, bonus $13k yr 1/$11k yr 2, 20 shares RSU. AWS sales program manager. Asked to bump base pay up to $125k
Yeah I think asking for a little more should be fine here. Don’t worry
