My expenses are not even 25% of what I make. I have started looking for investment options. Being on visa I don't want to invest in things i can't get out of quickly. So it mostly leaves me with stock options. I have hard time trusting someone else with my money. I want to star investing on my own. Where to start with and what do you guys do?
Bitcoin is the only high yield investment at this time
TitCoin has a better P/E ratio
Factually inaccurate. Bitcoin has no yield You likely mean growth rate, just say that.
Own 2 homes . 60/40 stock and bonds otherwise .
Gotta love that 5% y/y
Yup. If you can't beat the market, own the entire market.
Why the small cap value tilt?
Short the housing market.
Vanguard taxable account. VTSAX. Set to auto invest. Done.
What type of account? General saving?
50% VTSAX, 50% VTIAX. I would love to have some bonds, but they suck for tax reasons. If it's a retirement account, do maybe 80% stock and 20% bonds until you're like 50ish.
