- Nope, been using various products from all of them. Apple’s designs used to be clean, efficient, & powerful. But with every release more & more cutesy gestures or interaction paradigms are thrown in so it’s a mess (both iOS & OSX).
To focus on iOS, one thing that made it great was it’s touch interface was solid. A swipe, tap, or hold did one thing & did it well. Now if I tap a millimeter off, or my swipe is not perfectly in the right direction, or I hold a millisecond too long or too short I get a different action then what I wanted or no action at all.
This isn’t third party apps, this is the built in system, third party apps tend to follow simple paradigms & not get cute.
And this carries into the hardware as well. Removing Touch ID or MagSafe chargers just to change something & replace them with more complicated & worse systems.
