      Haha no. It's not a secret that amazon values frugality. They dont pay well or provide benefits for any of their employees so obviously they will treat acquired companies the same way.

      Correct because again everyone knew that whole foods would complety change and become a distribution point for Amazon. No one for a moment would be silly enough to think that amazon wouldn't apply their business philosophy to their new acquisition.
