Thank you Boomers! The reason GenX kind of hates Millennials is that we are sandwiched between two larger generations who have a tendency towards being true believers while we are cynics. Add to that our generation has weathered the most recessions in our adult life so we're annoyed when Millennials act like they have had it so much worse. That said, I think this generation has flaws and strengths like any generation. And this generation has had challenges and rewards like any generation. 😉
I feel that people born after the Cold War ended, (89 and up) never had a real fear of mutual annihilation of the planet in a nuclear war which was plausible almost until the Berlin wall years. So yeah I think it's Russia's fault.

I think most of the people you're whining about here don't waste a second of their lives worrying about what you think of them and just live their own struggles. We all have them and your vast overgeneralizations are certainly true for some people in the population. They aren't for others. Some could even be true about yourself (always bitching, think you're always right.) The real problem here is you can't figure out anything better to do with yourself other than get bent out of shape worrying about some kid who stared at their phone too much. That's concerning. Time to pack up your briefcase, head back to Sammamish in your midlife crisis car, refill your Viagra prescription on the way and find something to do with your life rather than waste it whining about the millennial boogeyman.
