Why do so many apartments have sliding doors on baths?
They get really gross and hard to get in/out and you cant have nice designs like a curtain. There's no way they're cheaper than a curtain bar either. I never saw these before I moved to the bay area, why are they so common here??
Space savings and makes bathroom look bigger And remember that shower scene in Pyscho? Glass shower door stock went up like a rocket.
Sliding door baths are usually a deal breaker for me lol. I don't get why they've become a thing, being a germaphobe I can't wrap my head around cleaning all the muck out π€’

1. Lateral movement saves space 2. Modern is/was glass (debatable but you get my point) 3. Curtains get sucked in when you have a warm shower on a cold day and itβs annoying as hell. I prefer glass
You can wash curtains. No need to go scrub crazy.
Shower over tub sucks. Iβd rather not have a tub at all. Glass, curtains, or a pressurized chamber, itβs never practical unless you take bath daily.

The new thing is to not even have a shower that can close. Why the fuck is that a thing. Half-open showers so my ass can be shivering while all the hot steamy air goes out
