Will I get better compensation if I switch?

I have 1.5 yrs exp at Oracle as a new grad from a top 4 school with BS/MS. Current comp is 125k base + 75k RSUs/yr.

Can I get a better comp if I switch to the likes of Google L3 or FB E3? Or should I stay another 1-1.5 yrs and try for L4/E4?

Oracle’s offer was just as good as other FAANG offers my classmates got and seemed like a more chilled out place to work.

U didn’t really think about how it would look on your resume vs FANG? Or be honest you never did get an offer from FANG

Just interview and figure it out yourself. You should always do that every 6 months even if you dont plan to move.

That’s roughly what I make at fb and others make at goog after 2 years. I wouldn’t expect much of a bump if I were you

Oracle doesn’t have target bonus and the sign on bonus and better benefits seem tempting.

That’s true we have good benefits. Not sure about career compensation growth elsewhere but if you got E4 at fb I think it’d be worth it if it’s same comp. depends on location.

Same situation here. Planning to start interviewing when I hit my first 18 months.
Just had a discussion with a Google recruiter and was told they could try to match Tc by increasing sign on but probably won’t go too high. Since you only have 1.5 yoe, you’ll be considered for L3 most likely.
Oracle pay top4 grad decent package so take your time shopping around. And if you’re on visa, etc. let oracle pays for visa/gc application before you go.
