Will google match my Yelp offer ?
I have a decent offer from yelp at IC3. Does google consider yelp’s offer as a competing offer ? passed HC with google at L3 TC: 170k (4 yoe)

I dont want to. I have heard a lot about google low balling. Preparing myself for that. I hope they atleast match my Yelp TC.
I don't believe Yelp is a scam. I would also say you'd be better if working at Yelp rather than some low visibility team with some shitty project at Google. But of course there are a number of teams at Google that are amazing. IC3 at Yelp is L4 at Google and I'd they down levelled you then they might not match the pay. If you don't feel Yelp then I'd suggest keep interviewing but don't take advise from people who are basing their views on clickbait articles found on the web.

I had expedited process due to an expiring competing offer. You can always mail and check. My recruiter is very responsive in giving me updates

Google downleveled me to L3. If the TC diff is a lot, then may be.
Yeah, you should not agree to lower pay. G usually matches other offers if it's possible within level. i.e. you won't get 400k as L4, but 300k for sure.
