Anyone who has attended interviews or is working there? How is/was your experience? How's the work like balance in Yapta Seattle?
I interviewed there. They said they are serious about good work life balance. They have five weeks vacation. There's no on call. I had a good experience interviewing there. They give a take home project rather than doing white boarding. They also sponsor conferences and are one of the companies in the Tech Happy Hour in May where you can visit different companies. It definitely seems like a good place to work. The people seemed very nice and it seemed like if you had questions about something you're working on they would answer the question rather than the way it is at some companies where you're on your own and if you can't resolve a question yourself then you sink.
I looked them up and thought, “damn, here comes Yet Another Price Tracking App”. Oh...
