amazon SWE L6 offer: need feedback

AWS recruiter said that I did very well. he said for SWE L6 the total comp range tops out at 375K. he said an exception can be made, if we make a good case for it (competing offers, current comp etc) I am currently in Bay Area. This is a Seattle offer. My questions: - Can the community confirm: Whats the upper limit for L6 offer at Amazon in Aws. - what is the usual exception they make? - how much can i expect in relocation ? current Total Comp: 350k YoE: 12

378 is for real the upper limit for Seattle. Curious what is your level at snap?

L7+ Amazon comp beats G/F? I’ve seen otherwise from people who’ve left amazon for at least FB, and Amazon couldn’t touch the offers. Genuinely curious - what are your data points?

Amazon L7 is like ~400k to ~700k. I know ~400k is low end because we had a L7 promo in my team and they told us. High end is courtesy of the great RBMY63

Bay Area 350 not so less that you should take Seattle 378 over it. Amazon will not make the cut for you

Don't go to Amazon for 10% TC jump. You'll regret it every day. There is no bonus, no refresh or any meaningful raise at Amazon that I know of, unless you carry the whole team on your shoulder.

If you compare 375k in Seattle vs 350k in bay area, the difference could actually be more than 10%.

Still does not make it attractive enough

350k for Snapchat sounds low

Would not recommend since you will be stuck at 375k until you get prompted. There are no refreshers or bonuses.
