debating between bizops offers from linkedin, facebook, and startups. know linkedin is strong. thoughts on fb? also, thoughts on doordash strategy and ops?
Business operations. Sounds like some tech guy trying to sound cool.
Lmao fuck all of the guys above trying to act like they’re the shit and work at Cisco + nobody. Great job. Facebook Biz Ops is similar to your typical finance role here. It’s lots of forecasting revenue for new and existing products, identifying budget spend for various teams, helping to model out and research use cases
Not at Cisco and you’re irrelevant to tech since nobody cares about you at FB.
Sounds like a glorified admin role
Bizops people are useful. I respect a lot those guys. Very important when launching new initiatives and you need business forecast data to justify funding.
Yeah an engineer couldn’t do that in half the time..
I can’t speak for the other companies but BizOps is very well respected at LinkedIn and you often can go anywhere after. There’s a lot of people that go into Product, Marketing, etc at higher levels after BizOps.
Bizops ppl are great and are actually useful. Team at li is very good but I’d probably take the fb offer for more interesting opportunities.
I’m in Fb biz ops and I enjoy my time here.
Great. You must be able to answer “who does Russia want for president in 2020?”
What the fuck is bizops? Business majors trying to sound smart and technical? 😂
It’s like a version of you that’s less technical but way better at getting girls
🤣🤣👆🏼
