linkedin EM: sr manager call after HC approval
Cleared HC after onsite interview for Engineering manager position. This was specific to the team so the manager was in the loop. He was very happy that I was able to clear the HC. Now they want to schedule an one hour call with a senior manager for team fit/ matching. what type of questions should I expect in this conversation? Edit: I am a senior engineering manager where 4 engineering managers report to me. I also have competing offer from fb with TC 495k. Thanks! TC: 435k yoe : 20

It ll be mostly around behavioural problems. Please check LinkedIn values (6) to understand LinkedIn culture. Be ready with some examples to showcase your compassion based management style. Also think about your current job. It might be the most important interview to assess cultural fitment which LinkedIn takes very seriously.
Engineering Manager would be a step down for you with 20 yrs of experience. You should be shooting for Sr.Mgr and above. Which team was this for ?

Can they do 20% more from my current TC?
With 20 YOE TC 495 is less. You should negotiate at least 100k more.
EM pay is roughly on par with Staff SWE pay, which is normally 350-450k(it can be higher with stock appreciation, refreshers etc). So they might not be able to beat your current TC by a large margin. Unless they really like you & make an exception...I guess.
