hi how good is Oracle as database service team at santa clara in terms of career growth+compensation wise? Looks like developer also involves in devops role. any input?

Very solid team and that's Oracle's golden egg. I know few people from that org and they are really good. Lots of opportunities mainly now with Autonomous DB, Linux and OCI. I believe we have a better synergy nowadays then compared to 2-3 years ago.
Oracle database pretty much died. Every company switching to other database especially cloud support
