Ask for 1.5 million in stock.
For 10yoe? 1.2 is more reasonable. But yes, if the recruiter low balls you with something like 400k, ask 1.5 and settle on 1.2

Nope. But recruiters use a neat trick these days - low balling. They will give you an ultra low number so you will immediately blurt out exactly how much it's lower than your current TC. (You are welcome recruiters - the ones who weren't using this trick until now ๐)
