You're not at the point where you need a wealth manager. You don't really need a financial advisor either, unless you have very specialized financial goals.

250k isn't high income (in this industry). Wealth management doesn't usually start till 5 to 10m. Visit a fee based fiduciary if you don't trust the internet.
