is it because biologically we are wired to be unhappy ? you needed two helpers to start a car in 1950. Today you have a 14 inch screen in your tesla. you had to depend on your uncles and aunts for all the knowledge. Today you google it away. you could only hookup with the girls in your neighborhood. today you swipe them left and right. we can savor food from all walks of life for 20 bucks. thai. vietnamese. munchies ice cream. whole countries and civilizations used to be wiped by attacking countries (ex spanish colonizing mexico). wars. femine. floods. fires. we have a pretty good handle on all of these. list goes on but so many folks are not able to look at life from outside the (not that) invisible box they are confined in. why are we as a civilization still so unhappy ? Dont even get me started on TC discussions.

Most be only you
Yeah, this is sick society which makes us to run make more money, bigger house, etc, what makes us unhappy because after you reached one goal there is a next one and you have to run again. We all should stop and enjoy the moment.
I’m happy.
In hard times we have hope that keeps us going, in good times we might just be afraid to lose what good we have. Other than that, social media induced anxiety, basically comparing lifestyle and looking at other people being “happy” in photos etc. Not everyone is unhappy, some people find inner happiness, and everyone else can too.
Happiness is a pursuit ... those guys had such great insights!
