thinking of doing a parttime mba in the bay area. is it worth it if my company does not sponsor? i am a senior IC now but want to do startups later.
Don’t need a MBA to start a company. If you want to switch to a business role try applying to Haas. The part time program has a sizable network here in the bay.
Start with the “10 Day MBA” book, then grab some books off Amazon about Startups and Product Management, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership from HBR. After you’ve done that if you still want an MBA I wouldn’t invest a ton of $ into one. Schools like HaaS make sense if you want to work for someone else who places high value on the MBA since the loans to pay it back are so high.
Do some MBA from Coursera or Udemy.
I was going to say don’t do Wharton exec MBA. It’s better to attend the FT program.
Worth it from Top 10 college or if you are stuck in carer
MBA isnt worth a dime of your time now. Go for something fancy - AI/ML, etc
