Mercari is the selling app. The company makes it super easy to sell (or buy) almost anything. We all have things we don’t use, never used or simply outgrew. But that stuff still has value. Mercari gives you the power to simply sell it, ship it, and earn some cash for it. Fashion to toys. Sporting goods to electronics. All the brands you know and love. Its mission is simple: to make selling easier than buying. And with 40M+ downloads in the U.S. and 150k new listings every day, Mercari is just getting started.

- I've been told numerous times this is the most peaceful work environment you can get in a Japanese company - People are generally kind
- Your career growth will be supported on how visible you are in the company, and not how performant you are - Your salary won't change significantly, unless you carry out extraordinary work and save your manager's butt - Engineering culture is poor. No time nor will to learn and improve, must ship fast - Maximum accountability on engineering, close to none on product/business - Close to no opportunity to mingle with coworkers outside the office since the pandemic - Employee benefits are rare (and fewer and fewer) - Your experience varies on your manager. It's a lottery anyways, expect to change teams every quarter or so
