Yep, I watch those videos all the time. I often learn about Tesla news on those sites before I hear the news internally.
“now you know” channel
Yeah … they are kinda over the top fanboys. It can be fun to watch, but they downplay anything negative and never question Tesla’s absurd failure to meet dates that they just reported on a few weeks earlier. Transport Evolved is a way more balanced source for EV news. Covers far more manufacturers and has a realistic take on Tesla.
What do you guys think about Dave Lee? I get the sense that he is wise and intelligent lol, about many things in life. He said recently that the average cost per share of Tesla that he bought in at is $6. Pretty amazing. His reporting on the company always seems very positive though. I'm wondering if he is blinded a bit by his love of the company and the fact that he has made 100x returns of them
A lot of us watch Tesla-focused YouTube videos to gauge customer sentiment (along with other social media channels). There are some better than others, but personally, I don’t like the extreme fanboys that think Tesla can do no wrong. Having worked here since the pre-Model 3 days, I’ve seen my fair share of ups and downs, so to say we deserve praise for everything that we’ve done is hard to stomach. With that said, our fans and their enthusiasm for the company and product makes the long hours worth it, so we definitely appreciate the love!

Agree! Sandy does LOVE Teslas design and engineering so he does makecontent about the cars but I agree he’s not really a Tesla fan boy he’s more of a content farm because whenever he posts a video breaking down some tech Tesla made every Tesla fan makes 2 or 3 videos on it 😂😂😂
I use fanboy to mean a male that's a super fan/ supporter. I'm a fan boy.. and proud 😃 I'm a huge fan of musk and the company. Tesla super fans apply first principles to justify our fandom!
