[ India Edition ] Comment your happiness progression year by year - I'll go first
3.2 LPA : Happy 4.2 LPA : Dissatisfied 9.5 LPA : Happy 14 LPA : Unhappy 24 LPA : Happy 32 LPA + ( everything else that comes with MS ) : Stressed and somewhat happy/unhappy ( not sure what this feeling is 😪 ) I'm single ( heard this status also play an important role in finding happiness )
2019 Jan: 30k per month (Internship) 2019 July: 5.5 LPA(Full time) 2019 October: 6.5 LPA(Increment) 2020 March : 8 LPA(Increment) 2020 October: 12 LPA(switch) 2021 Feb: 12 LPA(Switch at same package) 2021 December: 23 LPA(joining new company in December)
how did your happiness change in these years?
I was very happy with my 1st job. In 2nd job I was not happy with WLB. My current job is good but package is less. Thats why switching in December
3.07- Happy (0-3 years) - Stress level 0 6.4- Happy (1.5 years) - Stress level 0 9- Unhappy (1.5 years) ( Stress level 50) 22- Happy and Unhappy (Thinking about 30+ lpa as per experience😃)

how did your happiness change in these years ?
I was probably the happiest in 2018. But that's probably because I also had 0 responsibilities. Then there are spikes of happiness after joining new companies due to sudden increase of package 😂 which only lasts 3-4months.

0 LPA: unhappy and depressed 9 LPA: extremely happy(first job) 11 LPA: happy but less as compared to when I got the first job Bcoz my friends went from 9 to 20 or more in the same time 22 LPA: Happy for sometime but then again got unhappy after reading blind posts and finding out my TC is very less as compared to my experience
16 lpa: happy 20 lpa: happy 44 lpa: happy
25 lpa want to kill myself 28 want to kill myself 40 want to kill myself 53 want to kill myself 3 yoe

2018 Jan: 30k per month (Internship) - Happy 2018 July: 12 lpa(FT)- Zero stress, but shit work 2019 Jan: 14 lpa(Increment) - Stressed out due to bad work , overall still happy 2020 July: 19 lpa(shift- sde1 in faang)- Stressed out due to customer obsession. 2021 September : 60-70lpa(sde2 in faang + switch) - Looking for a new start
