[Amazon] Feedback about the latency team in any Amazon website org
I recently got the offer for the latency team of Product detail page org of Amazon. As said by the manager, the goal of the team is to reduce the latency to load the page by 10 percent. can anyone please let me know how is the work and growth prospects in latency team of any such amazon org.

It will be tons of optimization at client side and server side. Also http layer, tcp layer, cache layer, and cdn. Some pretty neat techniques there too. Preload, front load, predictive fetch etc. Asset compression. Sometimes its browser render engine - optimize for flow/repaint. Etc
Ok. So how much of coding and low level design is involved in this free form development. Also what are the growth prospects in these teams(since latency team doesn’t directly generate the revenue)
Latency translates to conversion which is revenue. You will have to ask the team about their project roadmap
What you gonna do after reducing the latency by 10%?
The PIP, quite literally, starts at that point :)
And then reduce latency on SIM because that shit takes forever. Oh also Brazil dep graph.
