[Apple + Google] vs [MSFT + Open AI]
Who is winning this? Excited to see 2 biggest of the big guns coming together tbh
Apple + Google is not a done deal.
So far Iโve enjoyed using Gemini search substantially over bing not even because of the quality of the AI but because of the interface. Microsoft just canโt seem to get it right. They acquire fantastic products but what do they have to show of their own making in the last 5 yearsโฆ teams? The whole ChatGPT search through bing is clunky, over encumbered and slow. It tries to do way too much, making it a AI generation machine rather than a search assistant. Now dalle, thatโs a gem and I have binge installed for it alone. Absolute masterpiece of software they bought and shoved in a search engine. I work for Apple and weโve arguably been in a slump with AI so Iโm not going to tout my s*** over here but Apple and google are both marketing and design leaders capable of making the sexiest products out there. This potential partnership could absolutely wreck competition and THAT is why your seeing regulators jump all over it in ways they never did with Microsoft and open AI
Microsoft can never figure out how to build a usable and desirable product, so my moneyโs on Apple.
