I am a SWE at VMware with 2 YOE. I had applied to a bunch of MS CS programs for the Fall 2021 cycle but got rejected by all of them (I was a bit ambitious and the cycle was extremely competitive). Later, I decided to apply for the Spring 2022 intake. Unfortunately, a few weeks after I applied to NCSU's MS CS program I got a rejection. I do not want to get rejected at any cost this time around. Following are the programs I have applied to (Awaiting decisions from all of them): 1. ASU MS CS program 2. TAMU MS CS program 3. Stony Brook MS CS program 4. Northeastern MS CS program 6. Colorado State University MS CS program 7. Rochester Institute of technology MS CS program 8. Penn State MS CS program Here's my profile: 2 YOE at VMware 327 GRE (168 Quant) 110 TOEFL 7.8/10 GPA (Poor grades in important CS courses) 1 Workshop paper accepted and presented at IEEE ICC conference Average LORs Is the above set of programs enough or do I need to apply to more safe colleges? Thanks! #ms #cs #tech #fang #vmware
