Google L3 to Microsoft SDE 2 Planning to move to Microsoft. What all should I consider? The offer hasn't been rolled out yet. How does refresher, bonus, hike, promotion works at MS in comparison to google? And how high can I negotiate? Tc: ~52lpa (as of today's stock prices) Yoe: 3

Why are you looking out from Google?
I doubt Microsoft will beat 52l at 3 yoe .. I know a couple of L63 making less than that at around 8yoe
I know a data point with 44L at 1 yoe at Microsoft. Microsoft pays well if you have competing offers from big tech
Depends on the org, your interview and then the competing offers. They weren't able to cross 48 for 3 yoe. With competing offers +10 of that in the case that I know about.
