Context: Gemini has had a misleading demo. Since all Microsofties are foaming bubbles for their loyalty to OpenAI, here is the official vote. ✅ Demo showed real time interactions whereas things weren’t actually real time and took much longer ✅ Demo showed Gemini picking up changes in the video whereas it was snapshots of the videos in pictures fed into Gemini ✅ Demo omitted more detailed prompt and verbose responses to make the interactions seem more advanced ✅ Gemini has compared scores measured differently from GPT4 (SoT vs 5 shots) but claimed it is “better” ❗️Gemini’s response was genuine (although truncated to reduce too much info) ❗️Gemini’s multimodality was genuine and is objectively much better than gpt4’s according to the same benchmark #Microsoft #Google #Apple #OpenAI #Meta #Amazon #Netflix
They definitely tried to fool the public.
Honestly it is hard to separate deception from marketing. If Elon went back in time and did the cyber truck unveiling again, I wouldn’t fault him for recording it beforehand to avoid mistakes like what happened.
Look who's asking
Who make such marketing decisions should all be fired. Gemini is great. But the demo is very misleading
OP I trust in Gemini. Also I am looking for a job change, can you refer me?

Side Question: Why are Microsoft employees so protective of OpenAI as if it was their brainchild?
It’s like when you pay to win but act like you earned the win by skill.
OP it’s obvious. For MS, their stock depends on open AI
