[RANT] Workday is the most stupid recruitment platform out there
Before Workday, there was Taleo as a big piece of crap (if you are old enough to remember), but I now find Workday as an equal piece of crap. 1/ Why do I need to create an account to apply for a role? 2/ Why do I need to retype the info when I already uploaded my resume? 3/ Why do I have to navigate so many screen before I can click submit? PM for that product should be fired. Recruiters, please use Greenhouse or Lever [Edit] Tagging #workday so they can collect user feedbacks

Agreed. I’m not a huge fan of our ATS but it’s way better than Workday.
Also why do I need to retype everything for each goddamn company that uses it ? Wouldn't that be the point to make it easier for candidate to apply on a single platform instead of multiple ?
+1 to garbage parser. I had listed my previous companies (3) along with projects in those as subpoints and it split them into 10 entries (created 1 company for each subpoint)

Whenever I see the Workday account creation page I close my browser and don’t apply to that job lol
It's the shittiest widespread software I've ever used. It doesn't accept chrome autofill. After the autofill, if you submit workday will complain and say that the fields cannot be empty. So you have to copy and paste the auto-filled text in order for it to register.

No @Workday, you just work for a dog shit company that has dog shit products that everyone memes about and hates. Literally saw a viral meme post on LinkedIn about how awful workday is one hour before seeing this post. Must be embarrassing to work for a company that is a complete laughing stock.

Their fucking parser seems to use tech from 1995. Such a big company can't even fix a resume parser.
