l was doing some minor Christmas decorations in my little/boring cubicle and my boss came at the same time. l gave her a heartwarming smile which l have and said “Just wanted to decorate a little for Christmas” -She looked at me like l am a gay crocodile and ate all of her candies and said “Holiday...” l mean, really ? People should just calm down. l won’t make you Christian (l am not) if l say “Christmas”. These are weird labels. It is like discussing strawberry 🍓 flavored condoms vs unflavored ones. Still, you are discussing CONDOMS !!! Anyway my fellow Blinders... Enjoy your lunchtime 🥗 🥙 🍴🙂

Also, it's presumptuous of your boss to suggest "Holiday", when you were describing an activity YOU were doing. It's your decorations, and your cubicle. You alone know what your reason for decorating is (granted your motivations will be more apparent to others after you've put up the decorations). You could be decorating specifically for Christmas (with a tree, nativity scene, Santa Claus, or what have you), but not Kwanzaa or Hannukah (whatever the decorations are for those holidays).
Try bringing a life size scale inflatable nativity scene.
