Greetings! Flying to the home of grunge music 🎼this week😍. any recommendations for places to visit in and around Seattle? space needle/chihuly glass garden on my list✅ would love to hear about short hike/star gazing spots, restaurants, bars, etc. thanks much🤘
Rain rain go away, little johnny wants to play ☔️
Isn’t it summer?😟
Don't worry there's no rain rn
I really wanna go see orcas. Heard u might be able to take boat trips around there.
What is that about?
U mean orcas? They are killer whales
The Living Computer Museum is neat. There is a small Chinatown with some good restaurants and shops. Most of the amazing nature is going to be a drive. Big 4 Ice Caves is a short, easy hike with a cool view (note: don’t go under any ice formations—they do collapse, especially this time of year).
This is cool. I will check this out. Thank you.
Snoqualmie Falls is a relatively short drive and beautiful through the pass. Great photo opp at the Falls
Will do it for the gram😁. Thanks
Take the hike down to the base of the falls too. It's really pretty
Go to gasworks and enjoy the city view
Sounds like my kinda stuff. Thank you.
Some good suggestions already but here's what I have written down for when co-workers come to visit: Theo chocolate tour Starbucks in Columbia tower Beer in Ballard (wander around the breweries) Bars on cap Hill/belltown Canlis or the met for good food Go to Golden gardens Underground tour (actually pretty fun) Pike place market Space Needle Pacific science center Ape cave (mt St Helens) Locks in Ballard Gasworks park Golden gardens Leavenworth San Juan islands Mountains/Rainier walk around Green lake Kerry park 🍷 drinking in Woodinville Magnuson and/or Alki
Thanks for this. Very helpful
there is a wonderful McDonalds on 3rd and Pine downtown. it was one of the first McDonalds on the west coast and the interior architecture is incredible. super underrated and a cool part of the city.
Gosh never thought I'd hear such a thing.
Leavenworth, Mt Rainer and Whidbey island!!
Thank you ✌️
Ah - pinkfloyd behan - Good list - add Space Needle and Ballard Locks to this.
