The False Narrative of Israel Committing "Genocide"
They got their lunch eaten because they focused on the wrong thing. They focused all their efforts into design system management, and their integrated digital product design product (InVision Studio) was way too late. They needed to adapt faster. Figma became what it is now because it took a bunch of different companies and made it under one product (Sketch, InVision, Abstract, Zeplin). All those companies are barely used anymore simply because they needed to exist with others, and the workflow was awful for us designers. Business-wise, people stopped paying for InVision because it was just a part of Figma. Figma focused on collaboration and integration above all. InVision really only focused on one thing: prototyping. Their collaborative efforts came way too late. Figma is also doing damage to Miro and other whiteboarding apps because of FigJam.
