Rick Wallace, Ahmad Khan and all the GM at KLA are known for fear mgmt. KLA is the only tech company to have achieved 100 rounds of layoff exercise in <40yrs

From a new employee perspective: Lack of clarity Lack of priorities Lack of alignment among different teams working on same project I am getting the f out of this confused org/comp. I honestly have no clue how this company has survived so long and been “successful”.

My wife works as a research scientist and likes it there. I interviewed with them once for an algorithm engineer, interview was easy, no coding, but everyone seemed knowledgeable and we had interesting open ended discussions.
KLA is amazing, every evening when I go to my car I get to smell the burning landfill KLA is built upon.
I dont know about other orgs but my org definitely feels like a f*** sweatshop with typical asian managers pushing employees to work crazy hours . Cant wait to GTFO
Highly varies between groups and teams, some are pretty good (except for TC lol)
