Anyone has a clue about Offerup with respect to - 1. Company culture 2. Tech stack 3. Pay and benefits 4. Company future Stuff on Glassdoor is pretty generic. It seems like a cool company to work at, but not sure about the details. Any pointers would help.
Facebook has better reach than offerup as it has social and location graph already
I’ve never used offerup but everyone keeps talking about it all the time. They have the word of mouth which the others don’t have (yet)
They have a pretty good business model based on auctions.
I saw lots of complaints that they allow to sell stolen bikes, etc. Good luck with helping to build criminal-friendliest marketplace in the world.
Same thing with Craigslist though. Right?
Search it on blind. It had been discussed several times. Pretty negative overall.
Thanks! yea looks pretty negative.
Glassdoor reviews are terrible. Don't have any more insight.

Why would anyone want to work there? What do they have above their competitors, in terms of product. Why won’t NextDoor and Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist eat their lunch?
Thanks fam. Appreciate the shout out.
I’m hungry for lunch
