Index Futures
I’ve had fun with these before, but got burned when I didn’t leave enough to cover fluctuations in the market and ended up day trading my money away. I have an extra $20k to have fun with, I think this might be enough. Anyone care to chime in? My long positions were great, it’s when I started getting ballsy and shorted with crazy stop orders that I got stupid. But my bread and butter were the S&P and Nasdaq. This is specific to index futures, not looking for advice on where else to put my funds. It’s either this or to be a PML for an investor network I have
The reason why most people fail in investing is because most people are more interested in making profits rather than learning. Having patience and Getting the right strategy and entry gives you an “edge” on the financial market. Some of these I’ve learnt the hard way. Looking forward to connecting!
It takes 2-5 years to learn to trade futures. Longer for smarter people because they think they can outsmart the market and get their ass handed to them then they lose money and then their trading psychology is fucked up. Good luck.
