Capital One Job Security for TDPs
Recently got an offer from Capital One for Associate Swft Engineer but also have an offer from a well know tech company. C1 pays more but I am really worried abt being laid off due to the recession around the corner, so I would appreciate some insight on what to do. TC: 70k #tech #capitalone #layoffs #fintech
After 09, banks were forced by government to ensure they have more liquidity. Banks also have an army of engineers and attrition in tech is high due to losish tc. Cap one hardly Hires foreigners too. Layoff risk is low imo. If cuts happen I would imagine folks in bottom of team are cut
Oh but wouldn't a new hire be cut first since they are the least valuable to the company?
