The obsession with high school on the Canonical application is incredibly creepy. It makes me think Mark Shuttleworth dances around in a varsity jacket listening to 80s hits a la Silence of the Lambs. It’s a “no” from me, Canonical🤣
I graduated in 1991. college in 1996. Im willing to order college transcripts but there is no way my high school would even have any to provide. It does make canonical look ridiculous for asking. Especially people who are referred by current employee and have 25 year career history.
When I saw their questionnaire it was a full cringe. I didn't know what was going on so I wrote up and then now they are asking me to complete the Psychometric assessment. What, the, fuck.
I got in before this new stupid process. The new process ensures we only hire shitty people that are rejected by all their other choices.
Pretty much, no one in their right mind is going through a 2 month interview process if no one else wants them lol
I just got the sent the written first step of the interview which includes those high school grades portions. This makes me want to stop the process right there. Who cares about grades from a decade ago
If it helps, they don’t sponsor visa either. So no point wasting your time.
I don’t even know why I applied here only to get a long ass email from the director asking to talk about my high school. I think these guys stopped growing after high school. The dude seems to be from Netherlands

What? Lol
the canonical app asks you to write what your best subjects in high school were, what made you stand out, what percentile you were, etc
Yup that’s insane
