India elections - Have we all committed blasphemy?
This post is about a coding test for a Full-Stack SWE position at Unity Technologies’ Vancouver office, AI@Unity to be precise. Not the Unity engine itself but for tools and services. So, I had the initial phone screen and asked to take a Codility test, which as I heard from the phone call it’s a test with 2 questions in 120 minutes. What will be the difficulty of those questions and what kind of questions I may expect? I also wonder how important are comments and writing custom test cases for those? I took a demo test from Codility and they have a separate file for writing test cases. YOE: 6 Current TC: about 200k (in CAD)
Yeah it's not very difficult at all
Sorry just to be clear, I didn't take that exact test but the one I took was not very difficult
Codility? Jesus i hate those tests
Thanks for sharing your experiences everyone!
Update: for some reason the test was actually 3 questions in 120 minutes. I got total 80-ish % since I couldn’t test task 2 good enough due to time limitations. Fortunately I got the onsite interview, what a relief!
Congrats!!
Did you receive an offer? Can you share your on-site interview experience?
Hey can you please tell me the type of codility questions? I have onsite interview where they will ask me to take codility test.
Varies hugely by team, no real standardization across company. I wouldn't expect them to be very hard though.
