Hi Blinders, I am a UX designer with 5yoe. Because the fundraising of my previous employer, a small startup, was not great, I got laid off and started the job hunting process. After 1000+ applications and 10+ interviews, I finally got a senior designer position at Walmart a month ago, but the offer was rescinded due to an unexpected visa status issue. Recently, I also entered the final loop round with Meta. However my whiteboard round was not perfect (I assume), so they decided to move forward with other candidates. I have to leave the US immediately due to the visa issue I mentioned above, but I still have 4 years of H1B left, and I really want to continue my career in the US. As long as the company is willing to sponsor and wait for me to apply for a visa stamp, I can reenter the US again to work. I know the job hunting outside of the US would be tough, so any referrals from you would be really appreciated! It would be better if it's a company with a friendly H1b policy. DM me about details for Walmart and meta designer interviews if you are interested. ex TC: 125k #referral #ux #recruiting #jobopening #UXdesigner #Productdesigner #Intuit #Niantic #autodesk #Microsoft #robinhood #Apple #Netflix #Spotify #Stripe #Meta #Square #Slack #google #tesla #adobe #ebay #SAP #MongoDB #TikTok #google #Rivian #Citibank #JPMorgan #Snap #Humanfactors
