Are you all -- Axon -- on the brink of a major discovery that is going to solve man-kind's most difficult challenges? Your interview process is utterly ridiculous. Seriously. #axon
So true, I got some Leetcode ultra hard question
Isnt it remote though
Yes but in my experience these nonsense interview "loops" are not indicative of your ability to succeed. Look at Meta's loop. My job is a fucking joke compared to the interview process. And, the contractors we hire at Meta have TWO interviews. ONE with the contracting company and ONE with the Meta FTE and that's it. And our contractors get the job done. I feel like companies do this to make themselves look like like high tech places you want to go work at. Like DeBeers.. Let's hoard the worlds supply of diamonds to make diamonds "appear rare" when they are not rare at all.
Obviously interviews are a joke everywhere. Even if you have to write a rest api
They’re building weapons for real warriors, not SJWs. Maybe they’re trying to break people to see if they can handle it.
I interviewed once for product management. Stupid and tiring process. Case study took me so long and the interviewer asked random questions and was super rude.. the interview was at 7pm on Tuesday and it felt like the guy just woke up or was drunk. Horrible experience
I guess as a hiring manager I am better at this interviewing thing than the people perpetuating these nonsense processes. At my previous job I interviewed this one candidate for my team. No one liked his background because it was not cookie cutter. I spoke with the guy TWO times and knew I had to hire him because he had the drive and right attitude. Guess what? He is still at the company 10 years later doing very well.
Interview for eng loop? I have a take home system design
I have an interview with them soon, don’t scare me like that haha. What was so crazy about it
dodged a bullet
It’s easier than fang interviews. I don’t know why you’re complaining.
What?
Added clarity.. Their interview process was just nonsense. You'd think they were hiring the best and brightest minds of the United States.
