Anyone here work at intercom? What's the culture like and what do you think the future potential will be of the company? Like, will it 5x, 10x? Considering a role there.
They are widely believed to be a rocket ship by investors. Very heavy on product and design and I admire them a lot for that.
They’re losing people and that’s not a good sign for a company that’s supposedly doing well
Why are they losing people? They seem like a hit company
It's a very friendly and open workplace. Flexible with work life from what I can tell so far. And yes, they do have enterprise ambitions and a huge list of top companies as customers such as Atlassian and many more. That should be a strong signal given that Atl has the power and money to develop their own solution but still goes with Intercom. They are rated best in their space against competitors but their solutions are wide and overlap with many tech stack solutions across the board while they are mostly known for their chat solutions.
I don't know where they go from here. The tool seems like a toy, and they don't seem interested at all in going upmarket to the Enterprise.
