1-year Master Program CPT Day 1, STEM OPT eligible
Hi Blind, Is there any master program that only takes 1 year to complete or a little more than 1 year to complete. Also, the program needs to check all the boxes below: - CPT Day 1 Eligible - STEM OPT Eligible The reason why I asked is I need CPT Day 1 to maintain my employment and if I use CPT Day 1 for more than 1 year, I will be disqualified for OPT and STEM OPT. You know one thing you can do is - 1. First year CPT - do part Time classes. 2. Half year/one semester full time classes and finish up the degree. You might be able to take a “leave of absence” from work during this time. So then you go back to your job.

In the same boat, what'd you decide
westcliff university has many STEM master day 1 cpt programs and the advisors there allow students to take more than 2 courses per year, which will shorten the length and make the whole program to be finished in around 1 year. However, it also means a lot of homework for that year. Other than that, it is a for-profit university, which means you can't enter the master cap by using degrees you've gotten from there. (this is not listed in your demands, I'm not sure how important it is to you. Believe it or not, I know people don't care about this cuz the H1B selection rate for the master cap is too pathetic these days) This university does have a good reputation....as good as it gets as a cpt school. If it sounds ok and you want to get a scholarship, DM me for a referral to get $1000 scholarship.
