Looking to invest into myself 1 year of training. Living situation covered. My initial thoughts are to start from first principles and learn how to learn and how to make information stick. Then I plan to learn the evergreen skills/fundamentals such as problem solving in software, design patterns, software architecture, programming fundamentals, software principles, programming languages, OOP, IDEs, operating systems, computer networking, algorithms, data structures, databases, etc. then start preparing for interviews via leetcode, how to design data intensive apps book, cracking the coding interview, etc. if your goal is to not only get a FAANG job, but also excel in the position, how would you structure your training to become as prepared as possible ?#engineering #software #swe #learning
