I think the start-up is stable, and has good WLB.
If it's a stable enough start up then no need to even think. Just choose that. It's very bad here.

Leadership is directionless. Lots of reorgs. Many people leaving. Hike / bonus are bad. Verizon stocks aren't growth stocks so you basically get what's in your offer as cash (while start up stocks during ipo MIGHT be a lot). They canceled free food (whenever we get back to office) Only positive I can think of is great WLB.
There hasn’t been an engineering layoff at Verizon Media for a while. Maybe tiny layoff here and there, but that happens everywhere. I highly doubt wlb of that mid size start up can beat Verizon Media, I work 3 hours a day.
